Hi Dave, Yeap, I found the solution myself but wanted to test it with other flight plans, just to be sure before giving the solutions to the other folks who would be facing the same issue. It works ok if no modification added between take off point and cruise level. Thanks for your quick and valuabl...

HI, Just installed the new update to 3.80 for PF3 on Win7 (FS version 2004). Each time I try to save the flight plan I receive the message "Irregular climb profile" and, of course, I cannot go any further with PF3 planning or even use it for flights. Stopped and restarted PC, tried to save...

The program answer was rather puzzling: I needed a post version 2.00 program to use this command - cu...

HI Dave, No self correction I am afraid, and, before "tempting" a restoration of the system, I would like to try some "softer manipulations”. Strange enough, after a fresh install of FDC from CD, the 3.14 cumulative program enabled FDC to properly start. Unfortunately, the next time I...

Dear Dave, Both FDC and PFE have been running with no problems for almost 8 years now on my good old XP SP3 computer. Since this morning, both FDC and PFE aren't working anymore. When trying to compile the FS2004 flight plan in ProFlight2000, at second step in process (Adventure File Name), I receiv...

Thanks to Norton Ghost, I was able to restore a former backup and, after a few updates, all is working fine again.
Back to basics...

Sorry for inconveniences caused.

Dave, Sorry for disturbing you, but the very famous Error: 429 is back again with description : ActiveX component can't create object in 'SetupDirectSound' routine This happened after removing all the outdated Java versions and fresh install of the latest one (could be important to mention this). To...

Hi David, When last attempting to create a new PFE data base, I got error 429 stating that "ActiveX component can't create object erl: 0". Since last update, I have moved FDC to drive D: to clear disk space on C:. Could this be the cause of this error ? Any clues ? Would the re-install PFE...
