Problem now resolved. The culprit appears to have been more than one Registry entry. All FDC entries removed, reinstalled and working fine.

Thanks Dave. I did begin to wonder about missing Windows Files. Looks like it will have to wait untill a new install of Windows takes place!

Now unable to uninstall FDC!
Message "catastrophic failure" appears! Something missing perhaps?

Dave I am running on XP !!!! After the last vain efforts I got very frustrated with FDC so put it to one side. The problem did nt go away of course, but felt less like Head banging Keyboard :lol: :lol: :lol: I will try a clean install and install the update to a new Folder. As a footnote, I think I ...

I have carried out the Instructions given in your reply.
Downloaded the latest version file fdc_accum314.zip and installed to the following location.
C/Program Files/Aerosoft/FDC.
When restarting FDC I now have a new FDC Splash Screen which dissapears after about two seconds. Nothing else, no FDC?

I have FDC Version 3.0. Recently I tried to update to Version 3.2 When then selecting FDC the splash screen would display and then vanish. FDC would not run. I uninstalled FDC and then reinstalled the original FDC V3.0 Now all I get is the following message ontop of the FDC splash screen....... http ...

Ditched RC 4 and switched to PFE and FDE. Personal prefference but this works for me.
