If you have an aircraft with its own flap or speed calls and you are getting duplicate flap calls you can remove the wav files in the aircraft sound file...This way all the calls will be FDC and sound the same...

I do this all the time... just an optional choice...

Dave L: Everything is fixed for my use... I changed all the numbers in the Performance TakeOff flap speeds...

Not sure where all the numbers that were there came from..

Thanks....Ray

Dave L: The QW 757-200 has Flaps 1 240K, Flaps 5 220K and Flaps 15 210K. I can use Flaps 5 or 15 for TO.. I usually use Flaps 5.. After TO I should not get a Flaps Up until I hit 240K max for Flaps 1... Should I TO and climb to , say 5000ft and hold 210K I should be able to leave the Flaps at 5... O...

I am so glad...beyond words...that I still use Windows XP and FS9 (2004)..

Most of flying is looking at a panel anyway..

Cheers...and to all have a happy holiday season..

I have used FSBuild and FSNAV (I think thas the name)

However, I most often just use the FS9 FlightPlanner... Simple to use and it does everything you need for a flight plan... I only fly the USA so that may make a difference..and I use real world charts...

Andydigital:: I used to have Nortin anti virus..Had problems running PFE with it... Dave M. suggested AVG. I am now on my second year with AVG and no problems... Of course I am using Windows XP and FS2004...Older but reliable.. I hate the idea that AVG may be a problem...... Ray Lunning

I know what 'line up and wait' means...I noted that in my previous reply...Its still "DUMB" even if the FAA approves it...The FAA is not always right and I am not sure we need to 'catch up with the rest of the world' "Taxi into position and hold" is perfectly clear and is only gi...
