Ah yes, could well be Dave; makes sense.

In any case, I find that importing a window (COM log for example) via this MoveVR programme freezes up and other windows open, Avitab for example, and even the aircraft's EFB, so it's not very useful in practice in any event.

OK, thanks for the information. For the relatively few times I need it, I don't think it is worth my loading a web browser page into the VR cockpit: had it been possible to have the Remote Text window alone.. (Still not sure why I can see the COM log window OK, using MoveVR, but not Remote Text?).

OK Dave, thanks. There is an app called MoveVR, which works in X-Plane to bring windows into VR. I tried it and it works fine with the PF2 COM log window, but the Remote Text window (where I see the choices Y or N for runway changes, for instance) doesn't appear as an option to import. Maybe 't othe...

Only just noticed that the Chrome web page has a line which says 'This is where Remote Text messages will be displayed. But I can, you say Martin, bring the Remote Text window itself into VR? (Once again though, how do I achieve that final (?) step?).

Hi. Post really addressed to Martin, pointy56 , but if anyone at all can advise of course :-) Really interested to learn (after all this time) from your post yesterday Martin that the Web Browser feature can make the Remote Text window visible in VR - but I haven't been able to make that happen in p...

Hi. I must admit, I have never tried your WEB Display feature: I didn't really associate it with use in VR. I will look through the pdf file and give it a try - and will post in a separate thread if I have any questions or problems? Thank you.

If only the Remote Text window were visible in a VR headset... but I realise of course that that is a very tall order

Thanks Dave. Turns out the three files below were swapped (by me somehow??, or is this in the downloaded version too?) between the StdA & StdB folders. I changed them around so I am supposing they should play OK now.

Hi Dave, According to the log Martin, WP1 was set to 23,000' Here's the screenshot. I just click on the 'Save/Use Current Changes'. Maybe it didn't engage for some reason. I can always try the flight again. grab_016.jpg PF3 is certainly not using a different voice set from the rest of the sentence s...

There is another question which should be able to be answered with the same log file: even though I set a 'dummy waypoint', WP1, and added a Waypoint Adjustment for it (35,000'), ATC still asked me to descend a long time before I ever got close to WP1 - before I'd even got to my cruise altitude. Did...
