Hi Dave, It could be I've uninstalled it in error, but I have to say I don't think so. It is a fresh installation of Windows 7 which then updated to Win 10. So far as I can tell, the comctl32.Ocx file is not included in Win 7 / 10 OS. Having said this, I did read a lot of forums and came across much...

Hi, I'd like to create a greater difference between the volume of the first officer voice and the cabin ambience & cabin crew sounds. I have the FO voice at 10 and the others at 1. I have a speaker in the overhead that the sounds come out from. The FO is fine at regulo 10, balanced with the over...

Morning, I managed to solve the problem last night. 8-) After trawling through many MS forums which turned out to be dead ends I found one with a nugget of info. that gave me the solution. Here it is. In my case comctl32.Ocx was missing completely. So I had to download it. I obtained it, as recommen...

I can select them and make adjustments, all except 'Voices'. As soon as I select the 'Voices' menu ite...

Morning all,

After completely reinstalling from scratch, after a registry clean, the process worked seamlessly. The version is 3.15.1.

I now need to configure FDC to work across the network.

Thanks for your help, sorry I seem to have wasted your time.

Regards

Dave

Morning, Some progress to report! After much fiddling around I discovered that there was a 'smudge' on the CD Rom which was preventing the installation from proceeding. Once I cleaned the CD the program installed with out a hitch. Embarrassing, but I wanted to post this in case it helps others. But!...

Hi Dave,

Sorry, yes it is a CD. I did turn off the AV, MS Defender. Although you've prompted me to think that maybe I did not turn it off fully. I turned off 'Realtime' protection, perhaps that does not entirely turn it off?? I will check this before you spend any more time on it.

Thanks

Dave

Hi, Okay so I tried to install FDC tonight on a client PC, i.e. not the PC where P3D is located. The installer starts okay, I point it to the C:\ drive (not Program Files) and it runs to 49% and then the following error appears: MediaName:DATA Component: FDC File group: FDC File: D\setup\data2.cab E...
