OK, Guess I'll try creating the flight plan in Simbrief without the SID /STAR and then add those via the FMS. Thanks for the tip. Stuart That is generally the best way. Then set up PF3 using the SIDS/STARS page and/or flightplan page so that for departure you will be cleared to fly your SID and ATC...

Best bet is to add the frequencies if they do not exist. You can either add them to the airport AFCAD using Airport Design Editor. Then update the PF3 database so it is aware of the new frequencies. Or a quicker method is to add them to PF3 database directly through the "Add a new frequency&quo...

The options I referred to are in ASE for FS9. Are you loading a flightplan into AS...that is required to make the option works.

Just to add to this...if you do not turn down the ATC sound to 0 in your sim settings when using PF3, not only will you hear the sim's own ATC talking to other aircraft, but you will hear their ATIS too.
