Hi, First, thanks for all you've done to make this program the best. I have both RC4 and PFE and I fly PFE more than any other. Version 2.14 is working beyond my expectations and I have flown both long and short sorties with no issues as far as ATC goes. 1. I was wondering how I can make PFE even ...

Hi Dave,

1. I can try that, thanks.

2. I will do that. On it's way.

3. I didn't catch that part - sorry. Here I was thinking this Soundblaster card was hosed somehow.

Thanks,
Dolph

Hi, I finally got around to reinstalling PFE on my new computer. I am having similar issues to those that I had before upgrading. I am flying right now to Acapulco and thought it would be nice to use PFE because it gives controllers a local accent and that is pretty cool. So upon leaving Albuquerque ...

Thanks Dave, My version is 2.11.1. There was a posting from me in December last year where I asked if I needed a file called Xinstall3.exe and it turned out I did not. That post is on page 5 of the forum about 1/3 down. At that time, I was searching for an answer to a PFE crashing problem and it ...

Hi Dave, I have been flying a lot lately, using either PFE or another brand of ATC. I use the other brand for uncontrolled airports because I like the company it keeps. For controlled airports, PFE is my choice. I also like PFE for longer flights because of the various voices I get, not the usual 6 ...

I didn't try to rebuild the database, but now that you mention it, I ran that on the FS9, not on FSX. That may be it. Seems that when I switched back and forth some time ago, I had to rebuild the database to use FS9 then rebuild to use FSX! Wow, thanks, I bet that fixes it. Will try tomorrow.

It's a habit of mine. The program "nHancer" does not do what it's supposed to do for the graphics card unless I run it as admin. I just set the shortcuts to run as admin as a precaution.

Hi Dave, I have version 2.11.1 installed. What do I do if I don't have Xinstall3.exe in my main PFE path? Does this do something to prep the software for FSX? I checked and can't find it to download. I had a PFE issue last night running FSX. PFE worked fine until I contacted ground ready to taxi ...

Yessir, got it done. Thanks. I have everything installed and will take PFE for her maiden voyage on Windows 7 this weekend. I just have to remember to "Run as Administrator".

Hi, The far-reaching woes of a computer crash. I have lost everything in a HD crash last week. Trying to reinstall everything is worse than moving one's household to a different state, I can tell you. My email address has changed since I first installed PFE too, so that just adds to the mess. So I ...
