It certainly is. When you changed the option it's saved to the INI file. It doesn't then populate across all existing profiles of course as that would make profiles pointless

That's correct. The preset data is not held in the PF3.INI file so it's not linked to any Profile... it's global

I'm afraid your only option at the moment Jon is #1 OK, if that's what I have to do, that is what I have to do. :) But doesn't that make option 3 a bit of a white elephant? John I agree and PF3 'should' allow option #3 to work 'as intended'. I will certainly be looking into this for the future
