Well, I did that. Don't have virus checkers running, though, and I never have other programs running during installs. Result: At least error #91 is still there when I want to alter the altitudes of waypoints (it's even there if I do nothing and just close the window). Can't tell about the frequency ...

Noone with an idea here?

I encountered a second problem: When I want to change the altitude of the waypoints in PFE, the program closes with error #91.

Departing from EDDN today, ATC advised me to dial to 119.03 for departure.
I can dial to .02 and .05 - but how could I possibly dial to .03???

.02 and .05 were dead, of course.
What am I missing?

Ok, it seems I have resolved the issue by allowing a response interval of 1 second instead of 0.25 seconds. I installed FDC on a second computer via WideFS, and with my profile for FDC it displayed the same error - so I was able to rule out the soundcard or the driver. As I noticed it ran fine with ...

Hm. It really seems to have something to do with FSUIPC. Because everything went fine until I installed Radar Contact today. The same problem resurfaced, both in FDC and Radar Contact - extremely long response times and loss of connection between FSX and the program. Here's what i posted in the FSUI...

I have no idea, really. I noticed that FDC wanted to install an older version of FSUIPC, but then discovered there is a newer on on the computer. Installation proceeded, then I got an error message, that FSUIPC doesn't reckognize FDC as trusted client and I would have to change settings in the IE (n...

It was a firewall/FSUIPC problem. Had to allow FDC to communicate through the firewall. Now everything is working just fine.

Ok, that didn't help, sorry. I noticed that during the long pauses the Disconnect FDC entry in the menu disappears, but this might be because FDC isn't responding. About the addons running: Normally I run ASA and Follow Me as well as FSFK, but it doesn't matter. Even with nothing running the error o...

Yes, they are. Realtek HD from September. Latest release. It seems to be related to the hardware sound acceleration problem in your faq, but in Vista, you can't set or turn off hardware acceleration for sound. Everything else responds in a timely manner, it's only the checklists - so I doubt it is s...
