Had a great few days exploring the new SIM, done some controller sensitivity tweaks, looked around the world a bit and have thoroughly enjoyed myself. But now its time to get serious and fly properly with PF3.

Hope to see the MSFS version soon.

If you've just completed an Oceanic trip you'll still be at your cruise altitude so you would need to contact the first control center as you exit the oceanic sector Just completed a flight PHNL to KJFK with custom made Oceanic entry and exit points, had the same issue as above. I was on oceanic co...

Sorry I meant PF3. I think I’ve solved the problem. But what I did to cause the problem (I think) was to make adjustments to the amount of times ATC checks for AI runway use. I changed this to 2 times only which solved my incorrect SID/STAR assignment based on runway use, thanks to a response in ano...

Thanks for the reply. It’s definitely similar to that thread up to the restarting of the the computer, I’ve restarted my computer everyday but PF3 is still clearing me in steps of 2000 feet, climbing and descending. It’s worth noting though I did adjust the ATC error probability to a lower figure (2...

Hi All, I’ve noticed recently that the ATC controller gives me climb/descent altitudes in increments of 2000 feet. This happens during climb and decent where ATC always clears me in blocks of 2000 ft. This gets very annoying particularly if in a high performance aircraft that’s climbing or descendin...

“Reducing the number of checks reduces the chance you will have a runway change.“

Thanks for this info, I forgot or was unaware of this tweak and I’m sure this will help.

Thank you

Hello PF3 users, Is this a SIM limitation or PF3 fault or an issue at my end. When I assign a SID and/or STAR name to an individual runway during the SID/STAR setup menu at an airport. The SID/STAR name or identifier at some airports can be different for each runway. When in SIM and requesting an ai...

PF3 gains it's AI data from FSUIPC and if the format or name is not recognised by PF3 you will get the first part of the name given phonetically rather than hearing the correct callsign. PF3 does NOT only see and respond to air traffic but ground traffic also. Finally NO, PF3 does not read the AI f...

Hi folks, I’ve been using PSXseeconTraffic lately (P3DV4.2) and enjoy the accuracy of AI traffic following SIDs STARs and real world routes. No more multiple AI planes trying to land on each other. PSXseeconTraffic has certainly got a big future. My problem... PF3 seems to see and respond ok to the ...

Thank you,

This did fix my problem and life is good again.

I was somewhat surprised as I didn't think I had a sound issue.
