Hi Mike, The request needs to be made to the tower. You do not have to wait until asked to tune to the tower to tune to the tower. So, I would think if you tuned to the tower frequency when ready for taxi, you should be able to make your request then. I am a bit vague on this because, like when I am...

Hi Boby, Glad to ahve helped. I am sure you will find buying PFE money well spent. If you find you need a competent First Officer to assist you, I can recommend FDC Live Cockpit. It has the benefit of working with PFE for a more realistic experience and there is a profile available for the PMDG 737....

Hi Boby, How can i pre-define a departure runway wich PFE will use? There is a facility for requesting an alternative runway to that assigned. You select the appropriate keystroke (N on my setup) select the runway and then signal acceptance of that runway with a further key press (Y on my setup). Ho...

Hello Tarek, The reason you are getting this error is that you are trying to use an 'AI' (artifical intelligence) aircraft. Not all, but most AI aircraft are completely unflyable. This is because they have no panel.cfg. Some AI can be flown if they are designed to do so, I understand, but as I have ...

Hi Frank, Sorry about the abbreviations. I am currently away from home until Friday but will try and recall the process from memory, could be dodgy!! The first thing I would say, IMHO, FS Build is a good programme but calculates cruise altitudes that are too high, certainly for my chosen mode of tra...

Hello Frank, You are right, 100 miles is too late for a sensible descent from FL370; however the descent profile is a function of the flight plan not a decision made arbitarily by PFE. My suggestion (others may have a better one) is to create the flight plan, using whatever is your preferred program...

Hello,

You could try this:

http://www.quicksoundswitch.toflo.de/eng/index.html or Google Quick Sound Switch

Not sure if it will do the job or not, I don't use it. I use a separate PC as mentioned above.

Best

Hello Lee, At the risk of stating the bleeding obvious; I assume you are loading a profile? If you do not load a profile to match the aircraft you plan to fly you will get this error message. FDC does not detect the aircraft you have loaded and then load the appropriate Profile. Best Dave (No not al...
