I think it is also the more realistic way of vectoring, and also done in RW. Beware that you might need to manually reduce your altitude on your last waypoint, so that you don´t arrive too high.

Thanks guys for the clarification! I actually liked the way how Radar Contact 4 dealt with the frequencies: you were able to enter those manually when checking the flight plan. ..that is not 100% true: I fly quite often on PilotEdge, and they give me SIDs from time to time (when they are busy), even when I did not file one.

Concerning the ATIS I noticed that sometimes I only hear the static sound, but no transmission. for example, I added an ATIS frequency to Bend airport (S07) manually, but during flight I only hear static noise when I tune in before arrival at the airport. Anything I am doing wrong here...?

Ralf, I think you have to tell PF3 the last SID waypoint, otherwise you will be vectored and cannot fly the procedure on your own, I guess.
