So I finally got past the runtime error and got PF3 to boot up properly. I had to do the command prompt as admin and put : Regsvr32 “C:\Windows\System32\MSINET.OCX” including the quotations and miraculously it worked. I do have the file at the location, but still getting the 339 runtime error.

Reinstall didn't work.....what next ?

I tried downloading the runtime files, but that didn't help either.

Copy, will do that as well, but all I use is the default microsoft defender which is pretty benign in intrusiveness. But I will turn it off non the less during install.

This is a first time install, just got the software.

If I don't have the ocx file, where can I get it.

Can't fire up PF3, after I click on the application on the desktop I get " runtime error 339 component msinet.ocx or one of its dependencies is not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid."

Tis is on a Windows 10 64 bit system.

Any thoughts on how to fix this ?
