so if access to this data (by FSUIPC) has changed in any way then my guess is that is where the issue stems from, but this need to be determined by using something like TrafficLook as I believe Pete Dowson suggested to you. Hi Dave, yes, Pete looks quite confident that the problem is in P3D and he ...

I am not at home, now, but I know that I checked the runways file and runways are correctly reported. Indeed, when ATC gives instructions to me, they use the correct designator. What is not correct is when they talk to AI airplanes. What is the difference? Do AI airplanes use another runway file or ...

I am not a real life pilot, nor ATC expert, all what I say is based only on 25 years of listening to ATC communications (both with my portable radio and during flights in cockpits), but Dave, let me disagree, otherwise you should hear, for each flight that contacts departure, a further clearance for...

The SID is exactly like the rest of the route, it is pre-programmed in the FMC along with the rest of the route, so the pilot can even "forget" when the SID ends and the enroute track starts. If, like Dave says, the virtual pilot does not know where to go after the SID, it means that he ha...

- Never heard the departure controller giving QNH - When on a SID it's absolutely incorrect to hear the departure controller say "resume own navigation", while it's correct after giving headings. Well I don't think we have anything else in the can to use in place of Resume own navigation ...

Thanks, Steve. Dave, is it a big programming task to simply change, in a next update, the departure instructions from "QNH..." and "resume own navigation" to "climb to FL..." with some random "fly heading...." and only THEN "resume own navigation"? T...

Thank you Dave for your reply. Well, in thousands of ATC-pilot radio communications I have heard I have never heard "resume own navigation" at the end of the SID. What in few words I would like to highlight is that the real life departure phraseology is different from what I hear in PF3, n...
