Re: Voice Recognition

Setting up VoiceAttack for use with PF3 ist pretty much straight forward. Create a profile called "PF3" or whatever you like, create a new command with the phrase you want to use and assign the KeyPress for the respective PF3-hotkey. Repeat for all the phrases you want to use. Additionally I add a ...

Re: Headphones

Here is what I do to make that process a little easier: - I created a desktop shortcut to ms-settings:apps-volume That will lead you directly to the sound settings. - I open the sound settings via the shortcut, run PF3 and play a sound in PF3 by going to Options #1 and selecting a voice in "Taxi ...

Re: Push and Taxi Clearance issue

I use MCE with PF3 and I get this issue as well from time to time. But most of my flights it works just fine. If it happens I just ask for taxi again until I get taxi clearance. So no big issue for me, that's why I never took the time to investigate this further. My guess is that it might have to do ...

Re: Waypoint too close to Departure and or Destination

Try Little Navmap. It is freeware. You can easily load any flightplan into Little Navmap, have it shown in a map, and delete waypoints comfortably with a few clicks. Only takes a few seconds. My standard procedure is: - create a flightplan with SimBrief (you can use PFPX instead of course) - export ...

Re: Speed Nag (timer)?

How about setting your speed to 240 instead of 250? So your autopilot / autothrottle should be able to stay below 250 in any case.

Re: Runway assignement at departure Airport

The option to use MCE with PF3 is the cream hood I'm not sure if anyone not knowing the German expression "Sahnehäubchen" understands this. Those should read this as "cherry on the cake" or "icing on the cake", whatever sounds tastier for them :) Everyone who uses MCE and PF3 knows that "cream hood" ...

Re: Runway assignement at departure Airport

I agree it would be nice to know the runway before gate departure. The problem is that PF3 assigns the runway according to which runway AI traffic uses at that moment (which is the only way to mostly avoid head-on traffic with AI). And AI is a little chaotic sometimes, in particular with calm or ...

Re: PF3 says: you must have at least one waypoint in your flight plan

Take a look at Little Navmap; it's freeware. It is much more user friendly than the FSX / P3D flightplanner - very easy to set up a flightplan with some waypoints. If you just want to go direct or don't find appropriate real waypoints you can also easily define one or two user waypoints which work ...

Open pf3_display.exe in your ...\PF3\PF3_Displayer\ folder.

On the bottom right you have Ctrl Freq, Dept Freq and Dest Freq. Mouseclick on these shows you all the frequencies you need.
