Hi Dave, Hope you're aware that v1.3 is now available. Savings of 350Mb on VAS plus improved flight and fuel modelling. There's no official support for SSTSIM now. ConcordeX has been out for over 5 years and is the only supported Concorde. Ask here if you need answers from the developers. http://for...

Hi Dave, Which Concorde are you flying? FSLabs Concorde-X? I trust you've updated to the latest v1.3. At the other end of your flight when you start slowing down before going down do you contact ATC or have they already instructed to you descend? If they're too early with that instruction what happe...

Hi Volo,

Lovely aircraft. :) Look forward to seeing the video plus reviews of PF3. These programs are notoriously difficult to produce but it's good to see another one on the market.

Hi Dave, Thanks for your feedback. I appreciate that Ai should not taxi onto a landing runway but it does happen unless specific actions are taken by the program to prevent it. I had an incursion on my approach to 03 at Lisbon and was advised to go around. It's very difficult for ATC programs to con...

Hi Dave, Thanks for all the answers and the welcome. It sounds like I have to create a profile for each aircraft including Concorde. PF3 then uses that profile to issue appropriate instructions. It's encouraging that PF3 is not as picky as RC4 regarding climb and descent rates. I'm currently enroute...

Hi Volo, I don't have the program so I don't know how you setup an aircraft profile to keep PF3 happy. But from what I've read so far it seems you have to workaround the requirements to keep the program happy. In that respect it's not much different to RC4. In 100nm Concorde might only climb 200ft b...

Hi Peter, Thanks for that very useful info. I look forward to reading how you get on with a flight. Could you test using FL600 please just so I (and others interested) can gauge how well the program copes with an unusual aircraft. It would be interesting to know how it copes when Concorde descends r...

Thomas / Dave, Thanks for your replies. I can't set waypoint altitudes because I can't guarantee I will reach that altitude. Will PF3 nag me if I fail to maintain a minimum climb rate? RC4 requires a minimum 100fps to keep the controller happy. So if I file FL600 (which is required for FS Labs Conco...

Hi Dave, I'm a long-standing Radar Contact user but the one thing it couldn't cope with was Concorde's Cruise/Climb mode. Because it was the only aircraft that could fly above FL450 it was assigned a block altitude in real life. That meant it could vary its climb rate within that range in order to m...
