I guess the second "Good day" indicates the problem here: "hold your position" does not need a Roger/Readback (similar to "stand by"), and the extra Roger seems to have confused PF3. As Thomas pointed out - no taxi instructions were given, just the readback. If the &qu...

Well at that precise moment I can assure you PF3 detected an AI aircraft using 33R. We don't actually look to see where an aircraft is or which way it is facing, we simply use the AI data table provided by FSUIPC and this shows the actual runway assigned to each aircraft. When PF3 first checked (wh...

I had the same issue yesterday on a flight out of KIAH. The winds were out of the south (190/8 if I remember correctly), the ATIS advertised runway 15L in use and all the AI traffic appeared to be going to 15L; but when I called ground, I was told to taxi to runway 33R  The zipped logs are at...

Oh Really!!! That seems a contradictory. However the ICAO regulations are quite clear. You cannot request a visual approach if the runway is not in sight. You cannot make a request for a visual landing and then be vectored all over the territory. You can be vectored and "then" request a v...

According to my real world advisor there are many reasons why you could not request a visual approach... one of which is you must have to have the airport in sight, you couldn't request a visual approach and then expect ATC to vector you into a position where you are aligned with the runway. It wou...

No.3 Yes it sounds a bit terse. But when real ATC are busy that's often all you hear! An ocassional "Good Morning/Afternoon" would be nice too. Something of that nature is already on Dave's list for the future. It stems from stripping out the phrase "Radar Contact" as in ICAO it...

I've made several flights with PF3 and am generally very impressed... definitely a major step up from PFE. With that said, I've noticed several issues that appear to recur consistently. I consider most of these problems to be minor... but they're obvious bugs just the same: 1. After making changes i...

PF3 is the only one communicating via WideFS (other than a VAS LUA script). I also have ASN and Super Traffic Board running; but they're using simconnect. One clue is that each time the ATIS cycled (repeated) when RemoteText was off, it would sound a chime (like the fasten seat belts "ding"...
