Subscribed to flight aware last night, and using the same departure and destination, it generated a flight plan. I made a couple of alteration to waypoints and flew it this am in the Q400. Everything went like clockwork.

Hi Dave, Lately PFE is doing strange stuff. It is not lining me up anywhere near correctly for runways, even after declaring a missed approach it will still mis align me (no logs for this). Today, i was flying from EIDW to EGNX and it gave me the strangest decent profile..."descend to 14500&quo...

Yes, that is a logical conclusion. I just don't know what it is. It seems to occur with the Aerosoft Airbus, but again why would that make any difference? Will try the same route with an E 175 and see what happens.

Ok thanks. I was using the Bogna DP out of Gatwick, and in the Airbus MCDU there are noise abatement constraints leaving the London area. I guess that because the MCDU was programmed separately for the flight, ATC and the MCDU route were not synced. Thanks again for taking the time to look at that.

All the way down France, and thus no descent instructions etc. I realize that the last WYPOINT is a long way from LFML but thought that the French ATC would descend me.
Thanks a lot.

Thanks Vololiberista, and Dan 77 for those comments. I don't remember Hober being clearly out of place on the image, but maybe i wasn't paying attention. What i do now is let FP create the route, save it and then feed it into PFE3 and see what it says. If it says Wypts x and x are too close together...

Thanks for the prompt and descriptive replies Gentlemen. I'm using Online Flight Planner, which is very good but does seem prone to nonsensical vectoring, especially with SIDS and STARS. The other main problem is, that for some reason, you can't delete your first or last WAY POINT, hence the HOBER t...

Flight from Atlanta to Little Rock in CRJ 900..everything going fine, ATIS tells me 4L is in use which will involve a down wind leg. ATC descends me fine, vector for heading and then that's it. After a while i think looks like they are sending me to Houston, Texas, so i start to turn my aircraft wit...
